You may be seeking therapy for any number of reasons; struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, family/relationship issues, or just need a safe non-judgmental environment to speak and be heard. I believe that we are all unique and therefore your experience should be tailored to best benefit you.
Using a solution-focused therapeutic approach, I assist clients in directing their focus to the future, learning from the past, and developing skills and strategies to help accomplish their goals. I utilize techniques found in Acceptance Commitment Therapy ACT and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) counseling modalities to teach effective coping skills and personal competence to resolve problems related to depression and anxiety and to manage anger, moods, and unhealthy habits that often impact life in unwanted ways. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, multicultural issues, men’s issues, low self-esteem, and life transitions.
My goal as a counselor is to provide a safe space with support that empowers you. To help you build awareness, grow insight, the solutions to overcome the barriers in your life, and promote healing, growth, and fulfillment. I am honored to have the opportunity to walk alongside you on this journey.
