Kilworth Environmental Education Preserve

#1 Most Endangered Place in Washington State. We encourage the continued effort to save this rare, high-bank forest overlooking Puget Sound in Federal Way, WA. This historic property is the largest private waterfront parcel in King County left to be saved. For over 80 years, Camp Kilworth has been a place for youth in the surrounding region to learn, grow, and be forever changed through outdoor programs.

Kilworth Environmental Education Preserve (“KEEP”), is a nonprofit working to preserve this invaluable open space for experiential and educational programs dedicated to environmental stewardship and conservation, outdoor recreation, history, culture, arts and wellness.
